CLEAR! Move any furniture or items at least 5 feet away from the flooded area. If items of wood or metal were wet, keep them from staining/rusting carpets by placing coasters underneath. Also, we will need access to flooded areas and there will be fans placed to complete drying the structure.

CUT OFF! Turn off the source of flooding if an appliance. If a pipe, find the water main and turn off. If storm flooding, try to barricade the opening that water is coming through. Or perhaps the leak is able to be caught by buckets, etc. and dumped periodically down the drain.
